The Healthier Futures team will be visiting places across Cheshire this summer to talk about plans for a new health and care neighbourhood in Crewe. The new Leighton Hospital will be at the centre of these plans.

Over the next few months, the team will be at these events: 

  • Sunday 24 May – Crewe Krazy Races, Ford Lane / Broad Street, Crewe  

  • Tuesday 9 June – Northwich Health and Wellbeing Event, Memorial Court - Brio Leisure Centre  

  • Saturday 13 June – Crewe Pride, Lyceum Square, Crewe  

  • Friday 3 July – Nantwich Women’s Health Roadshow, Nantwich Civic Hall  

  • Saturday 4 July – Crewe Day, Victoria Street, Crewe  

  • Saturday 11 July – Wrenbury School Festival  

  • Wednesday 29 July – Nantwich Show  

  • Saturday 26 September – Alsager Health and Wellbeing Event, Alsager Civic Centre  

More events are also being planned. When dates are confirmed, they will be shared on the Latest Events page. 

Jamie Murphy, Head of Engagement for the Healthier Futures programme, said: “We are excited to meet people in local communities, share our plans, and hear what is important to them.
